San Rafael High School Hall of Honor Nomination

Winter 2009

Dear Parents & Alumni:

Over the years, many individuals have had a positive impact on the lives of our students at San Rafael High. There have been inspirational teachers, tireless parent volunteers, and even former students who have overcome great obstacles to create very successful lives.

That’s why San Rafael High started a tradition of recognizing these valuable contributions. In May of 2009, San Rafael High School created a Hall of Honor to recognize the contributions made by dedicated individuals. The dedication of our new Hall of Honor included our first inductees, Hugo Rinaldi and Ang Colombo.

On May 12, 2010, we’ll have our second annual induction into the San Rafael High Hall of Honor, and we are reaching out to our community for nominees. The criteria includes individuals who:

* Have had a positive impact on students
* Improved the quality of San Rafael High School
* Contributed time & energy to the betterment of San Rafael High
* Are a positive reflection on San Rafael High
* Made a valuable contribution to society

Nominations are open to anyone you believe worthy of recognition – the Hall of Honor is not limited to alum of the school. We ask that you nominate someone who has been out of high school for at least 10 years.  You can submit your nomination by mail or online by February 1, 2010 (a nomination form is on the back of this letter).  Please email completed nominations to Principal Judy Colton’s administrative assistant at ppugh@srcs.org, or mail to:

A high school is so much more than classrooms and school books. It’s the people who’ve made San Rafael High School what it is today. Help us honor these important individuals.
